Ethics Meaning and it´s Importance

Ethics are moral principles that govern a person's behavior.  They are also the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles.  Ethics is concerned with what is good for individuals and society and also moral philosophy. The term is derived from the Greek word ethos which means custom, habit, or character.   An example of ethics is a the code of conduct set by a business.  Ethics work as a guide to moral daily living and helps us judge when our behavior can be justified. Ethics refers to society's sense of the right way of living. It does this by establishing rules, principles, and values on which we can base our conduct.  Ethics has to do with social standards, and morals are about personal beliefs.  Some ethics in our life are honesty, caring and compassion, integrity, and personal responsibility they are values that can help you behave in your personal life.  Ethics can help us understand the difference between right and wrong. 

Ethics are important because we have to get along with each other, and we have to do it right, with rules.  If not there will be chaos.

Ethics help you to live an authentic life; they can help you be successful and cultivate peace.
