Hi! My name is Sofia Cereira Kaim. I am fourteen years old. Iwas born in December 14, 2005 in Mexico City. I live with my brother an my parents. When I was two years old, my family moved to Pachuca, Hidalgo. There I spent 9 years of my life. My grandparents have always lived in the same place as us, not the same house. My brother´s name is Santiago Cerdeira Kaim, my mom´s name is Maria Fernanda Kaim Gebara, and my dad´s name is Benigno Cerdeira Alvarez. My familia has always been really close. We like to spend a loto f time together. Almost all the Sundays we eat with my grandparents. When I was twelve years old, I left one year to study to Providence, Rhode Island. It´s located near Boston. It was the best year of my life. I met Friends that I know are going to last forever. It wasn´t a co-ed school. We were only girls. It was amazing how close we were in just one year. The academy is called Overbrook. It´s a catholic scool. There I also met Jesus, I was already catholic, but in there my faith grew an Jesus became my friend. In Overbrook I traveled a lot. I went to Canada the first semester, then, when Ireturned from Christmas. I went to Holy Land, a few months later Iwent to Washington DC, in Holy Week, Iwent to Italy and saw the Pope. When the year finished, Ididn´t go back to Pachuca, Icame here to Merida. I am loving it. I´ve met really Good Friends that I know that with time we are gonna be so close. I still see my Overbrook Friends, sometimes. The pandemis has helped me to be more concious with my acts, and it has given me more time to reflect about the person I want to be.
